We are a small Family-Friendly, Christian, Praying Church located in Barnet, North London. We meet each Sunday Morning at 10.30am and at the Hope Corner Community Centre most Sunday evenings for informal worship with other local Christians at 5.00pm. We are pleased to be a member of "Churches Together for Chipping Barnet".

I attended Underhill Baptist Church for 12 months. My advice of you're looking for a caring community: Avoid at all costs!
I had the current minister, Vania, use my painful past experiences to draw me into a "pastoral care/counselling" relationship with a huge power imbalance, which she used for her own advantage.
When I started going to this Underhill, listening to the sermons preached, it all seemed lovely. After some time, especially behind closed doors with the minister, it was a completely different story. From my experience at Underhill Baptist Church, I no longer consider myself a Baptist or a Christian.
The Designated Persons for Safeguarding made huge failures, and the leaders of the Underhill DO NOT safeguard people. There is an illusion of caring, but they do not follow their own out-of-date safeguarding policies, hold themselves accountable, or even follow the gospel.Added December 24, 2022 by Melissa C
